A case of glomus tumor

Abstract
|
|
|
A case of glomus tumor located in the subungual area of the right index finger in a 42 year-old male is presented.
The patient had the classic triad of symptoms; pain, tenderness, and temperature sensitivity. The diagnosis was made clinically and histopathologically as glomus tumor. Meticulous surgical excision resulted in complete cure of this tumor.
